2 minDear Domotz Community,
I’m reaching out to you to address the evolving global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis. There is nothing more important to us at Domotz than the health and safety of our team, partners and customers, so I wanted to share the steps we’re taking to do our part.
Many of you may know that the majority of our Domotz team is located in Italy or have family there. Our engineering office is in fact in Pisa, Tuscany.
We have switched all of our locations to work-from-home since the beginning of March and are very lucky our entire team has remained healthy and able to work remotely. This, unfortunately, cannot be said for the rest of our country which has seen over 60,000 people infected, 25,000 hospitalized and 6,800 deaths in the past three weeks. We remain concerned about the ongoing need for more medical equipment and doctors in the country and want to help however we can.
With demand surging for IT remote support during this emergency, we have actually seen an increase in demand of our remote network monitoring platform all around the world. We are happy to announce that we will dedicate our additional revenues to medical relief during these tough times to help the people around us.
We are donating 100% of the first-month subscription revenue from new Domotz agents to Pisa University Hospital. This is valid for all new Domotz agents installed until May 31st, 2020.
Finally, we are working around the clock to provide support to you as fast as possible. Our amazing support team is working overtime to handle surging customer inquiry volumes. I want to personally thank you for your support and your business. I wish you and your loved ones the best of luck during these challenging times.
